On June 23, 2022, the first LATAM ICT Conference with the theme of "Lighting up Digital LATAM" was held in Cancun, Mexico. 

As a partner of 5G CPE terminal , Tozed Kangwei was invited to participate in this conference which was hosted by Huawei and co-organized by ITU and GSMA Intelligence, discussing the development of the ICT industry in LATAM and the Caribbean with global industry elites and opinion leaders.

From 2020 to 2021, the Digital Transformation Index in LATAM has increased by 50%. In the post-epidemic era, the Internet has a huge impact on social and economic, effectively promoting the resumption of work, production, and school, supporting the restoration of social order. 

With the successive release of 5G spectrum, LATAM is stepping into the vigorous development era of 5G. Major Latin American countries such as Brazil, Mexico, and Chile have deployed 5G networks. Many operators have released 5G commercial packages and are actively exploring new applications for consumers, homes and industries. 

At existing base stations, 5G FWA can provide speed like fiber through spectrum deployment . 5G FWA can be applied to vertical industries such as smart energy, internet of vehicles, industrial Internet, telemedicine, smart education, high-definition video, smart city, and home entertainment; can be equipped with various industry terminals, including VR, AR, IP cameras, industrial gateways, live broadcast machines, AGVs, drones and robots .etc. 

In addition, telecom operators can monetize 5G FWA with lower marketing and maintenance costs.
